Full Itinerary
Day 1: Colombo Arrival - Negombo (D)
Welcome arrival. Upon pick up at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be transferred to the neighboring city of Negombo where your family tour in Sri Lanka will begin. Depending on the time of the day in which you have arrived, you may have time to go on a boat ride at Muthurajawela Wetlands. Enjoy the welcome dinner in a fine local restaurant.

Day 2: Negombo – Sigiriya (B, L, D)
Morning excursions to top places of Negombo: the St. Mary’s Church, Hamilton Canal, and Negombo Lagoon. In the afternoon, we will go off to Sigiriya – the city of the ruined palace. En route, you have a chance to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and mingle with the elephants there.

Day 3: Sigiriya (B, L, D)
Sigiriya City will be our focus today. After breakfast, you will visit the Rock Fortress in Sigiriya which you can climb to admire the spectacular view of Sigiriya City. You will also be taken on a Sigiriya Village tour on a traditional Bullock Cart.
After lunch, you will be discovering the neighboring city of Polonnaruwa where you see ancient ruins. Then you will return back to your hotel in Sigiriya for your night stay.

Day 4: Sigiriya – Kandy (B, L, D)
Start the day with the visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple in the nearby city of Dambulla and then take a scenic drive to the city of Kandy. On arrival Kandy, you will obtain blessings at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and towards the evening you will be taken to enjoy a cultural dance show in Kandy.

Day 5: Kandy City Tour - Nuwara Eliya (B, L, D)
Following the city tour of Kandy City in the morning, you will enjoy your journey to the beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya. En route, you stop for a visit to the enchanting Ramboda Water Falls. In Nuwara Eliya, your night stay will be at Heritance Tea Factory.

Day 6: Highlights of Nuwara Eliya (B, L, D)
Your visit today will focus on the main highlights of Nuwara Eliya City. We first take you to the stunning Horton Plains covered by montane grassland and cloud forest and experience the scenic trail to the “World’s End” point. Following the schedule, we go trekking through to the verdant tea plantations, Pedro Tea Estate and take a boat safari on Gregory Lake. In the late evening, enjoy the savory dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: Ella - Adam’s Peak – Ravana Waterfalls – Cooking Class (B, L, D)
Leave Nuwara Eliya in the morning on a beautiful train journey lined up for you to the inspiring town of Ella which is 55km apart. Upon arrival, we will visit the “Little Adam’s Peak” – an incredible pilgrimage route, and the Ravana Waterfalls – a must-see attraction in Ella. You also have the unique chance to take part in a cooking class in which you are taught how to make the authentic Sri Lanka Rice and Curry.

Day 8: Yala National Park (B, L, D)
Head south of Sri Lanka to discover Yala National Park which is one of the most prominent attractions in Sri Lanka. On the way to the city of Yala, we will visit the Buduruwagala Buddha Statue. The most exciting activities are waiting for us in Yala. Once arrival, you will be spotting a great variety of wild animals such as leopards, elephants on a top-open safari jeep.

Day 9: Mirissa (B, L, D)
Leave Yala in the morning to head for the neighboring city of Mirissa. En route, you will have the chance to stop by the traditional market of local which sells a hundred kinds of fish and marine species. You also can admire one of the most outstanding things to see in Sri Lanka: men fishing on stilts, and you even can give a try to this thrilling activity. Once you check-in at the hotel in Mirissa, you are free at leisure on the sandy beach and enjoy water sports for the rest of the day.

Day 10: Bentota Discovery (B, L, D)
Early the next morning, we will take you on a whale watching tour in Mirissa – a unique experience Sri Lanka has to offer. Then we journey to Galle in which we will explore the historic Galle Dutch Fort built in the 16th century. Your next stop will be in Bentota, which is on the southern coastline and home to the most stunning beaches of the country.

Day 11: Bentota: Free at Leisure
As you nearly approach the end of this 13-day Sri Lanka family tour, days eleven is completely allocated for relaxing at the beach, giving yourself a nice suntan and spending quality time with your family.

Day 12: Colombo City Tour (B, L, D)
On our way to Colombo, we have lined up a visit to the Turtle Hatchery and take a river safari on the laish Madu Ganga Lake. Upon arrival in Colombo and do hotel check-in, we will stroll around the capital city, visit historic sites, meander through vibrant markets, admire Gangaramaya Temple considered to be an iconic gem of Colombo, and unwind at the windy Galle Face Green.

Day 13: Colombo Departure (B)
