Full Itinerary
Day 01: Negombo Arrival
Welcome to Sri Lanka. As you arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will be waiting to greet you and escort you to your hotel in Negombo which is considered ‘Little Rome’. On reaching Negombo, you can witness many churches as this marvelous destination is greatly influenced by the Catholic church. Don’t forget to witness the lagoon at Negombo as it is well-known for its regular harvest of prawns, lobsters, and crabs. Also, it is worth a look at fish auctions which are regularly taking place on the beach. When you settle in your hotel, leisurely walk along the beach and experience the stunning local view.

Day 02: Transfer from Negombo to Sigiriya
Today, after breakfast, we will take a 3-hour drive to the ancient city – Sigiriya. The city, in this day and age, is now an eco-tourism destination in Sri Lanka and when you reach there, get ready to head to Sigiriya Rock Fortress – the World Heritage Site listed in UNESCO in 1982. Once there, visitors will take 1.200 steps upwards to explore one of the best-preserved examples of old-age urban planning. Remember to witness the walls that are adorned by the colorful frescoes as well as the side of the rock with the gigantic paws which are sculpted into it.
After a day of exploring Sigiriya, you will be escorted to your hotel and have dinner. The rest of the day will be yours, freely enjoy the nightlife.

Day 03: Transfer from Sigiriya to Kandy
This morning, take a pretty 2.5-hour drive to Kandy to go to the Temple of the Tooth which is an important Buddhist site situated within the royal complex of Kandy’s former Kingdom is home to the relic of the Buddha’s tooth. Known as the most important relic in the Buddhist world which was brought here from India 2.500 years ago. The sacred object, today, is protected in the gold casket inside the Inner Chamber.
On reaching Kandy, we stop at the beautiful Dambulla to head to the Royal Rock Temple, the best-preserved and largest cave temple complex with breathtaking views of the countryside in Sri Lanka. The site contains over 100 beautiful Buddha statues and paintings – some of the most important religious arts which were created over 2.000 years ago.
Later, head to the hotel and have dinner.

Day 04: Transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Our fourth day of highlights tour in Sri Lanka will begin with a joyful drive to the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country. Located at the high altitude above the sea level (1890 m), Nuwara Eliya has cooler weather compares to anywhere else in the country. In the past, the area was known as ‘Little England’ and colonized by the British, Nuwara Eliya still remains an old-world feeling. The Nuwara Eliya town is famous for horse racing and its impressive golf club as well as several remarkable and colonial-style hotels.
After heading to one of the tea plantations in the area, we will relax at Gregory Park, a sparkling lake and also the best destination for picnicking, boating, and horseback riding.

Day 05: Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Udawalawe
This morning, we head to Horton Plains, a beautiful nature reserve with a charming landscape of rolling hills, grassland, and forests. The Horton Plains houses up to 24 mammal species like leopard, macaque, porcupine, wild hare, wild boar, giant squirrel, deer, elk, and so on. The journey continues with a hike offers you to admire unique vegetation that provides you the ravishing environment converging many endemic and rare highland birds.
In the afternoon, we will take a 4-hour drive to Udawalawe National Park and have an overnight at a safari camp.
Day 06: Transfer from Udawalawe to Galle
Welcome a new day in Udawalawe National Park, we spend the day with elephants. The National Park situated at the intersection of Sri Lanka’s wet and dry zones; thus, Udawalawe is one of the best places in the world to experience elephants bathing, feeding throughout the park. Highly recommend that you should keep your camera activating.
Once in Udawalawe, it is also a chance to bump into water buffalo, monkeys, sambar deer, and water monitor lizards. For those who are bird-watchers, be ready to be overwhelmed in an atmosphere of varied rare bird species.
After being jovial with a wonderful excursion, we will take a 3-hour drive to Galle.
Later, in the evening, you will have dinner and the rest of the day will be yours. Enjoy the nightlife in such a destination.

Day 07: Galle Sightseeing Tour
Today, we will spend our day discovering Galle, the delightful UNESCO-listed city. The city, today, is a perfect combination of the modern and ancient ambiance. Once there, make sure that you won’t miss the lighthouse built by the Portuguese in 1587, surrounded by the three sides of the ocean.
You also have an eye-opened opportunity as you will visit the Dutch-colonial buildings, grand mansions, museums, and historic mosques. You will have time to stroll around the city and explore some stylish coffee shops, boutique hotels...
Unawatuna Bay is of the main attractions in Galle with a lovely cove protected by a reef. A dip in the ocean is the must there. Enjoy it and we promise you will have a memorable way to wrap up the trip.

Day 08: Departure
Time to say goodbye, Sri Lanka. After breakfast, our representative will meet you at your hotel and escort you to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your flight. Your Sri Lanka tour ends. We hope you had a memorable time and wish that we can serve you next time in Sri Lanka.
