FULL ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Transfer to Negombo (8 km – 30 min)
Upon arrival at the airport, meet our representative and transfer to Negombo, a coastal town just 8 km from Bandaranaike International Airport. Relax on the pristine beach at the tip of the Negombo lagoon. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local hotel.

Day 2: Negombo - Ridigama - Dambulla - Habarana (170 km – 4 hrs)
After breakfast, travel to Dambulla, stopping en route at the hidden village of Ridigama to visit Ridi Vihara, a small cave monastery nestled beneath a massive boulder, home to local wild bee colonies. Continue to Dambulla to explore the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Rock Temple, Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave complex. Admire ancient murals, sculptures, and over 150 Buddha statues, including the striking 14-meter reclining Buddha carved from rock. Overnight in Habarana.
Day 3: Habarana - Sigiriya - Minneriya - Habarana (100 km - 2 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on a hike (approx. 2–3 hrs) to the top of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century wonder. Along the way, marvel at the famous frescoes of the "Apsaras," the polished Mirror Wall, and the grand lion’s paws leading to the summit. Take in breathtaking panoramic views and explore the ancient palace ruins.
Later, embark on an evening safari in Minneriya National Park, where you may witness "The Gathering"—one of the world's largest congregations of wild elephants. The park is also home to diverse wildlife, including over 160 bird species and 78 butterfly species. Overnight in Habarana.
Day 4: Habarana - Trincomalee (100 km - 2 hrs)
After breakfast, travel to Trincomalee, home to one of the world’s largest natural harbors and stunning unspoiled beaches. This culturally rich coastal town boasts a history dating back to the time of Marco Polo. Overnight in Trincomalee.
Day 5: Trincomalee (Leisure or Optional Tour)
Spend a relaxing day at your own pace or opt for an optional tour (not included). Visit Pigeon Island, a marine sanctuary perfect for snorkeling, or set off on a boat trip to see playful pods of spinner dolphins. If you're lucky, you may even spot blue whales or humpback whales in their natural habitat. Overnight in Trincomalee.
Day 6: Trincomalee - Kandy (180 km - 3 hrs)
After breakfast, travel to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. Visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which enshrines a sacred tooth of Buddha. Enjoy a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake and explore bustling local markets. In the evening, watch a captivating cultural dance performance before savoring a delightful dinner at a local hotel. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 7: Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya (80 km - 2.5 hrs)
Begin the day with a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, once a royal pleasure garden and later expanded by the British. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route at a tea plantation and factory to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a fresh cup of world-renowned Ceylon tea. Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England," is famous for its colonial charm and scenic landscapes, as well as housing one of South Asia’s finest 18-hole golf courses. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 8: Nuwara Eliya - Kitulgala - Bentota (215 km - 5 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Bentota, stopping to admire the cascading St. Clair and Devon waterfalls. En route, visit Kitulgala, famous for its jungle scenery and thrilling white-water rafting on the Kelani River. Upon arrival in Bentota, check in to your hotel and unwind by the beach. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 9: Bentota (Leisure or Optional Tour)
Enjoy a relaxing day at your own pace or choose an optional tour (not included). Take a scenic boat ride along the Madhu River, passing through lush mangrove forests and small islets teeming with wildlife. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 10: Bentota – Colombo (80 km – 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling commercial capital. Explore the city's highlights, including Independence Square, Pettah Bazaar, the 100-year-old clock tower, and colonial-era landmarks. Visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall and admire the city's modern developments. Colombo offers a vibrant nightlife and excellent shopping experiences. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 11: Departure from Colombo
